The Shared Grief Project envisions a world where no child grieves alone. To achieve this, we share the stories of individuals who have experienced a major loss at an early age and have gone on to live healthy, happy and successful lives.
Judi’s House
By investing in direct service, training, and research, we help whole families adjust to loss and prepare for future challenges. We believe supporting children grieving a death loss builds connection and coping that leads to healing. All services and programs are provided at no cost. We rely entirely on private donations and our community of dedicated volunteers to fulfill our mission.
NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR CHILDREN’s GRIEF
The NACG is a nonprofit organization that raises awareness about the needs of children/teens who are grieving a death and provides education and resources for anyone who supports them. We educate, advocate and raise awareness about childhood bereavement.
Coalition to support grieving students
The Coalition to Support Grieving Students is a unique collaboration of the leading professional organizations representing classroom teachers, principals, assistant principals, superintendents, school board members, and central office staff, student support personnel, and other school professionals who have come together with a common conviction: grieving students need the support and care of the school community.
The Cove Center for grieving children
At The Cove Center for Grieving Children, our mission is to provide hope and healing for grieving children, teens and their families, as well as training for the professionals who work with them. We provide family and school-based programs utilizing the peer support group concept for helping children, teens and families work through their unresolved grief due to the death of someone significant in their lives.
THE TONY RIVERA FOUNDATION
Helps youth and young adults ages 15-25, who have encountered hardships in life due to illness, loss, or life altering family changes, receive assistance, support, or positive life experiences in order to impact, change, or alter their lives.
Lionheart camp for kids
We are a not-for-profit organisation empowering bereaved children, teens and families to navigate their grief journey through education, peer-support, strength-building and resilience.
